Msgr. Delaney Council is named in honor of the man who was the founding pastor of St. James R.C. Church in Seaford and who served as pastor for nearly 15 years.  Rev. Msgr. William A. Delaney, he built a church, he built a school and he developed a parish spirit well-matched with the principles of the Knights of Columbus.  The early leaders of our council knew Msgr. Delaney to be a friendly and charitable religious person respected by all who knew him.  He was sincerely interested in the people and activities of his parish.  It is thus fitting that our Council is named in honor of such a distinguished man.

A Knights of Columbus council can work wonders; in fact, with its many programs, it can help change a community…

At the Rev. Msgr. William A. Delaney Council, we pride ourselves on being a close group of practicing Catholic men, sharing in the celebration of family values.  We welcome new prospective members and their families to get to know us by meeting with us at our social functions and through their participation in our community programs.

Through these programs we strive to build up our parish and our community.  This work is generated through the commitment of the gifts of our members and their families.  These gifts come in the forms of time, talents and treasure.

We graciously welcome the gifts our new members may offer to better assist us in our efforts of developing a sense of Fraternity, building a Unity of community and purpose, while providing Charity to those in need.

Please consider adding your gifts and talents to ours, so we can grow in our best efforts for our community!
